About this Blog

What is this blog about?  Given the title of this site (Truth in the Last Days), perhaps that is the most relevant question to ask.  As you are aware, the truth we are looking for here is that which is relevant to us in the last days, which I fully believe we are living in.  Under that assumption, I believe we as the body of Christ need to be awake and alive, and we need to be actively pursuing the Lord.  We must also realize that just as we serve a living Savior, we have an enemy that has been working relentlessly against us.  Thankfully, our Father is waking His children up to see the reality of the times in which we live. What we must understand is that the enemy's deception of this world exists on a much deeper level than we think.  Essentially, the entire world that we live in is set up to deceive us.  You may have a hard time understanding that at first if you are not aware of what the enemy is capable of doing.  In order to delve into some of the topics we will discuss, you'll need to understand that while our Heavenly Father is ultimately in control, the prince of this earth right now is our enemy(whether we like it or not).  He has no control other than that which the Father has given him, but if you understand this, it will make it much easier to understand how things have gotten so far out of control here on earth.  While there are many truths to uncover, I have learned from my own experience that it is imperative to first understand some very basic concepts before trying to figure anything else out.  Before we attack some of the these topics, here is an illustration to show why it is important to first understand the basics.

--In school, did we not first learn how to add and subtract before we learned how to multiply and divide?  Did we not first learn that 5 + 7 = 12 before learning that 5 x 7 = 35?  Later on, we learned about fractions, algebra, trigonometry, etc.  Now, if we had tried to jump straight into some of the more difficult math without first having mastered the basics, we would have had a much tougher time figuring it out.  Of course, I am not here to be a math tutor, and I doubt I’d be very good at it anyway.  However, I give the illustration above because when choosing to chase down the truth, there are some basic truths that you will want to understand before moving on to some of the more complex truths.  That said, going back to the example above, I could tell you that 5 x 7 = 35, and you could just take my word for it and accept it as truth.  However, it is extremely important that you understand why that statement is true, and how I came to that conclusion, because you want to be able to find that truth on your own.  To give a Biblical example— I could tell you what John 3:16 says, and you could take my word for it and say “OK, I accept that as truth.” Still, you need to understand what that means and why it is important.  These are just examples, and I will assume that many of the people reading these posts are already Christians and have an understanding of this verse.  However, to some of you, that verse may make no sense at all.  Again, this is why it is important to cover a few of the basics before we move on to anything else.

For those not familiar with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I beg you to please check the page devoted to giving an explanation of my faith in its entirety.  Afterward, if you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me as my details are in the bio section of the site.  I would love to talk with you about Jesus.  For those of you who are Christians, I encourage you to read over that page as well.  I am of the belief that we can all learn from one another., and I've learned a great deal from my brothers and sisters in Christ lately.  However, the first thing I look for when I am reading a blog or watching a YouTube video is a bio about the author and/or a statement about their faith.  I want to know from which perspective the author is bringing their information.  With so much information and so many informers floating around out there on the web, it is crucial that we use the gift of discernment when studying some of these topics.  Anything you read that is not directly from Scripture, take it back to the Word of God and also to the Lord in prayer.  If things are not making sense, ask the Lord for the wisdom to understand it or ask Him to tell you that what you've read is not the truth.

While reading posts on this blog, please keep in mind that no matter where we are in our walk with the Lord, we all learn differently.  Some of you who come here have been studying the end times for a while.  For others, this may be very new to you.  Up front, know that some of the information you will take in here, or in any of the other posts/videos that I may direct you to will be controversial.  Some of the ideas presented may be completely foreign to you, and some of them may even disturb you.  I will try my best to present information in such a way that doesn’t give you too much to bite off at once.  I'd encourage you not to overwhelm yourself with these things either.  Keep in mind that our focus should be on Jesus Christ and how to bring others to Him.  Do not lose that focus and do not become faint-hearted by anything you uncover, our God is in control and never forget that HE WINS!  However, as the time is nigh, I believe it is imperative that we as Christians understand that we do have an enemy out there, and while this enemy does not have much time left, he is trying to take as many down with him as he can.  It is time for the body of Christ to wake up and get in the game.  It is time for us to pick up our own cross, and follow our Lord Jesus!
